Exterior envelope rehabilitation project at Aberdeen Public School included scaffolding access, tarping for winter works, complete masonry re-pointing, brick replacement, stone repairs including Jahn repairs, pin repairs, Duchman repairs as well as sealant replacement at all windows. Also included rehabilitation to the decorative metal cornice. The cap flashings of the cornice were removed and replaced with new standing steam copper roofing. The backup framing was replaced as required and new fir plywood was installed on the top-side. The entire cornice was prepared and painted.
