The Regent Theatre is located in downtown Oshawa and was built in 1913. It is a designated Heritage building with the City and now currently owned by the University. The scope of work included conservation and repair of the remaining heritage plaster elements. From these restored elements the entire theatre ceiling was recreated to match the existing. Although not much of the existing ceiling was retained, the original elements were incorporated into the existing ceiling to retain as much of the original as possible.
